We like to think of it as doorstep mountain biking taking the trails to the people and removing the barriers that might mean they can’t access the countryside to try mountain biking for real.

Semi-Permanent
Shoretrax have created a unique solution if you’re looking for a flexible permanent installation. Our semi permanent trails utilise all the features of our portable trail system to create a trail that can be changed or moved to suit you and your clients. If you’re business is seasonal or if you have a lot of repeat customers the semi permanent option is the one for you. Built to be tough with upgraded uprights and planks it’s a perfect halfway house between our portable and permanent options.
Case Study – South West Lakes Trust
As part of the 1SW project the South West Lakes Trust invested in developing and upgrading their cycle facilities at its sites across Cornwall. An essential element of the new network of family cycling trails were a number of mountain bike pocket parks where riders of all ages could develop their skills and ride something a little more challenging.
Shoretrax semi permanent was the obvious solution. The robust construction along with option to easily change the trail layout on a regular basis and move the trail from site to site if need be were exactly what the South West Lakes Trust were looking for.

Case Study – Avon Tyrrell – UK Youth Activity Centre – New Forest
Shoretrax were contracted by CTC – The UK’s National Cyclists’ Organisation to deliver a timber mountain bike skills park aimed at riders of all ages and abilities.
Working closely with the CTC and Avon Tyrrell’s outdoor education team Shoretrax designed a flowing timber trail and a number of standalone ‘features’ offering something for everyone. Utilising the existing rolling terrain, gulley’s and bomb holes to make the rider feel like they were riding in the trees when in reality they were a matter of centimetres above the ground.
The progressive trails are offering centre staff the perfect platform on which to deliver progressive skills sessions for riders of all ages and abilities.
